This is hand embroidered Kashmir Ivory Shawl created by a gifted artisan from the Kashmir valley on 100% Kashmir ivory wool. Kashmir valley is resplendent with beautiful and sometimes rare flowers in spring and summer against a breathtaking backdrop of the mighty Himalayan ranges. A talented Kashmir craftsman captures a glimpse of this paradise on earth through his embroidery, and reflecting the beauty of nature that surrounds him using traditional skills that have been passed through generations.
The 100% hand embroidered Kashmir wool Ivory Shawl is highlighted by two bouquets of vines resplendent with hand embroidered large and small flower motifs, flower buds and leaves reaching out to each other across the length shawl from the left and right edges. The beauty of the shawl is further enhanced with a gorgeous multi-layered border of vines , flowers and leaves running along its four sides. The alternate flower and paisley patterned vine in the middle layer of the border adds makes the border especially eye -catching . The ivory white background brings out the bright shades of red, orange , violet and green in the hand embroidery.
