This hand embroidered Kashmir wool ivory shawl has been created by a peasant artists from the valley who works in the tulip fields by day and embroiders at night using traditional skills passed down through generations. His inspirations are from nature and he embroiders what he sees around him during the day. This beautifully hand embroidered ivory shawl embodies spring itself, the intertwining of delicate vines, young leaves and flower buds and flowers at various stages of bloom all welcome spring after many months of cold hard winter in the Himalayan state.

The highlight of this beautiful hand embroidered Kashmir wool ivory shawl is the set of two gorgeous spring bouquets that diagonally reach out to each other starting from the opposite corners of the shawls. The buds, spring leaves and the blooming flowers are all representative of the flora of the region. Each of the two bouquets are topped with a matching set of blooming tulips in red and pink. This ivory shawl has a border of densely embroidered spring branches with buds, leaves and flowers. The embroidery on the shawls are in various shades of red, orange, pink, purple and green.
