The peasant artisan works in the field by day and creates his nature inspired masterpiece at night, his art influenced by the colors of fall that surrounds him as he works in the high fields of beautiful Kashmir valley.
The beauty of Kashmir maple leaves in fall is captured in this hand embroidered Kashmir wool shawl. The body of the shawl is sprinkled with a repeating pattern of a single Kashmir maple leaf in shades of earthy orange and red. An impressive rectangular border of maple leaves and vines, buds and flowers highlight the field of maple leaves and make this shawl a unique one a kind Kashmir experience.
