Field of Lotus Shawl

This is a 100% hand embroidered Kashmir shawl created by a gifted peasant-artisan from the Kashmir valley on 100% Kashmir wool . The peasant artisan works in the field by day and creates his nature inspired masterpiece at night, his art influenced by the bounties of nature that surrounds him as he works in the high fields of beautiful Kashmir valley.

A field of beautiful vibrant flowers, row of large flowers alternating with double rows of smaller flower motifs in shades of pink and orange. The main motifs are joined together by vines, branches and smaller flowers all in hand embroidered silk threads in shades of green. The body of this exquisite shawl is completely covered with the hand embroidery making the black wool background rarely visible.
Color: Base is black Kashmir wool with embroidery in shades of orange, green and pink silk threads.
